Crosby Cook, P.Eng, B.Sc. – President & COO
Crosby is a graduate engineer from the University of Calgary and has worked for the last 5 years consulting for several oil and gas companies providing engineering services that have included reservoir analysis, project & corporate evaluations, drilling, completions and operations engineering, monitoring daily production and Governmental liaising.. Crosby has been involved with numerous oil and gas projects ranging from conventional oil & gas, CBM, heavy oil and exploratory drilling projects in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Nova Scotia. Crosby is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA), the Canadian Association of Drilling Engineers (CADE) and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). Previous to the Oil and Gas Industry, Crosby has coordinated a number of large scale construction projects with a large Calgary based EPC company. He has also performed advisory services for Graybeard Energy Ltd. and Lukey Vac Services.
Greg Neufeld – P.Eng – B.Sc. – CEO
Greg is a graduate engineer from the University of Alaska. He has worked his entire career in the oil and gas sector including working on drilling rigs prior to attending university. Greg began his professional career as an consulting engineer for Ridgestarr Petroleum Management Ltd. providing seminars to clients on reservoir evaluations. He moved on to operations engineer working in the field with Coachwood Resources from 1987 to 1988. Greg then consulted to various oil companies on drilling and completion programs. He joined Anderson Exploration in January, 1990 as a drilling engineer and then moved to exploitation. Greg went back to consulting again in 1992 and provided drilling and reservoir services to third party oil companies. Greg joined Encal Energy in 1997 as Operations Manager and was responsible for all drilling and completions programs for the company. He left Encal in 2001 to join Slave River Exploration Ltd. as general manager and later to become the president and co-owner with one other share holder. He sold the company in June, 2005 and began Graybeard Energy Ltd. in August, 2005. Greg continues to act as a director, president and CEO of Graybeard. Greg has accumulated significant experience in the oil and gas sector and brings this expertise to CG. Greg is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta. (APEGGA)
